                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1915
                   HAMILL ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   HAMILL ROAD NORTHEAST OF DUPONT STREET, FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1915 Hamill Road, being
                on the northwest line of Hamill Road lnortheast of
                Dupont Street.  Lot 78, Fairview Acres Subdivision,
                Unit 2, as shown by plat of record in plat book 15,
                page 76, ROHC; being the property described in deed
                book 4033, page 748, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 110I-H-6.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
        
        
              1.   Use as single or two-family residence or a real 
estate
                   office only.
        
              2.   Subject to Traffic Engineer requirements.
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
required
         by law.
